Somatic CBT Counseling In Los Angeles
I help driven, high-achieving adults — and the relationships they've built — recover from the cost of always performing.
From the outside, you look like you have it together. We both know the inside is a different story.
You're capable. Committed. The person others lean on. And yet — underneath the calendar full of wins and the life that looks right on paper — your mind rarely quiets down.
You replay conversations that ended hours ago. You say yes when every part of you means no. You feel vaguely responsible for everyone else's emotional weather.
And at some point, the person closest to you started getting the version of you that's already been depleted by everything and everyone else.
This is the hidden cost of high performance. And it's more common among Los Angeles, Silicon Valley, an Newport Beach creatives, founders, and helping professionals than anyone talks about.
You don't need to choose between being ambitious and being okay. Therapy can help you hold both.
The same patterns that drive your success — perfectionism, over-responsibility, the inability to disappoint — are often the exact patterns quietly eroding your nervous system and your most important relationship.
Whether you're coming for yourself, for your relationship, or both — the work begins in the same place: understanding the patterns underneath.
How I Can Help
-

Anxiety & Overthinking
For the high-functioning adult whose mind never fully clocks out. We work to quiet the mental noise, break the perfectionism loop, and build a relationship with your thoughts that doesn't exhaust you. Using evidence-based approaches including CBT and somatic techniques, we address the root — not just the symptoms.
-

Burnout & Boundaries
For the person who has been everyone else's resource for so long, they've lost track of their own needs. This isn't about adding a self-care routine — it's about restructuring how you communicate and how much of yourself you give away. We rebuild your capacity from the inside out.

Couples Therapy for High Achieving Partners
For the couple who has mastered everything except each other. When two driven people share a life, the relationship often becomes the last thing that gets tended to. Using Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), we move you from logistics partners back to genuine partners — without asking you to sacrifice ambition to do it.
